City of Langley

The City of Langley is "The Place To Be" with over 22,500 residents. Within just 10 square kilometers (4 square miles), the City of Langley contains six established residential neighbourhoods: Nicomekl, Douglas, Simonds, Blacklock, Alice Brown, Uplands. The city features parkland exceeding 300 acres, high density residential development, a revitalized pedestrian-orientated downtown, and one of the most active industrial and service commercial land bases found in the Fraser Valley and the Lower Mainland. The City of Langley has managed to retain its small city atmosphere and community spirit while offering all the amenities of a major urban centre, independent stores, farmer's markets, and terrific antique retailers; it is a unique trait that appeals to a wide spectrum of people and businesses.

Township of Langley


The Township of Langley is home to 100,000 residents, the municipality is committed to providing progressive, business, housing, and recreational opportunities, while balancing its unique mix of urban growth and rural beauty. The Township of Langley has eight neighbourhoods: Walnut Grove, Willoughby, Willowbrook, Murrayville, Brookswood/Fernridge, Aldergrove, Gloucester, and Fort Langley. It comprises 303 square kilometers (122 miles) and has five museums, over 40 parks, Trinity Western University, and is known as the "Horse Capital of BC".

School District No. 35

The Langley School District's #35 Mission Statement is working together for student success through excellence in education. Empowering all to make quality choices today for opportunities tomorrow. All the activities of the Langley School District are intended to support the Graduate Profile. The district strives to help students become ethnical and respectful citizens, democratic participants, self-directed individuals, skilled and knowledgeable learners, collaborative workers, and quality contributors.

Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce


The Langley Chamber of Commerce promotes and improves trade and commerce, and the economic, civic, and social welfare of the District, Langley City, Langley Township and the community at large. The Chamber serves over 1,100 members and publishes "The Voice of Business", a monthly newsletter updating their members of current events and news.

Downtown Langley Merchants Association


The Downtown Langley Merchants Association's role is to provide the information that will make your visit to Downtown Langley even more enjoyable. If you are looking for a particular restaurant, shop or service, or want information on an upcoming event, it's all on their website.

Tourism Langley

Tourism Langley is a Destination Management Organization (D.M.O.), and not-for-profit society, governed by an independent Board of Directors who is mandated to deliver effective marketing strategies that will generate increased visitation, extended stays, more revenues and increased daily expenditures for businesses in the City and Township of Langley.

As an arts organization that serves the communities that make up Langley, the Langley Arts Council works to raise the profile of the arts in langley, promote and support Langley arts and artsists, and to increase accessibility and awareness of the arts to the general public.
